Middle East Technical University (METU) operates a Nursery and Kindergarten that provides childcare and early childhood education. The institution’s internal directive defines responsibilities for managing admissions and enrolment records, monitoring attendance, collecting childcare fees, addressing parents’ concerns, and coordinating educational and health services.
The facility employs designated personnel responsible for educational programme planning, children’s developmental monitoring, hygiene and health supervision, food preparation, and the daily care and safety of children. These arrangements demonstrate the organisational structure supporting the provision and management of childcare services.
The Nursery and Kindergarten’s internal directive provides documentary evidence of the facility’s operational responsibilities and childcare provision. Together with the University’s official Nursery and Kindergarten webpage and applicable admission rules, it can support METU’s reporting on childcare facilities for academic and administrative staff in 2025.
