Middle East Technical University (METU) operates an on-campus nursery and kindergarten providing early childhood education and care for children aged 3–6. The facility provides a structured daytime setting for young children, with published operating hours from 08:30 to 17:20. During the 2024–2025 academic year, the school operated nine classrooms across three age groups.

The availability of an on-campus childcare and early education facility is relevant to supporting parents within the university community. For student mothers with eligible children, access to childcare during the university day could help reduce childcare-related barriers to attending classes and continuing their studies.
