10.6.4. Anti-discrimination policy

METU has an anti-discrimination policy that covers the whole institution and all its operations.

Policy

• METU's Academic Freedom, Integrity, Inclusiveness and Equality Policy places "justice, equality, and non-discrimination at the center of its initiatives" and commits METU to equality in admission and employment.

• The METU Gender Equality Principles and Strategies Document (Senate decision 2016/4-5) guarantees gender equality in all of METU's activities.

• The METU Disability Support Office Directive guarantees students with disabilities equal access to the university's resources and services.

Reporting

Discrimination can be reported to the Gender Equality Support and Sexual Harassment Prevention Unit (CİTÖB), the Disability Support Office or the General Secretariat.
